General Terms and Conditions

The following general terms and conditions, applicable to International Communication A/S (hereinafter referred to as "IC"), CVR: 36023163, constitute the binding basis for all purchases made by consumers and companies (hereinafter referred to as "customers") at IC.
Contractual Basis
The contractual basis is all types of courses provided by International Communication A/S. A list of courses provided can be found here www.internationalcommunication.dk
Course Confirmation
International Communication A/S forwards a course confirmation letter for each agreed course. The course confirmation letter describes the course content, length, and price. Once the contact person has accepted the course confirmation in writing, the course may commence.
Cancellation
Cancellation of individual lessons by the participant must be made no later than 14:00 on the last working day before the lessons are scheduled. In case of late cancellation by the customer, the scheduled lessons will be charged.
Course Objectives
IC is not responsible if the customer does not achieve a certain level or end goal.
Course Completion
The courses must be completed no later than 18 months after course start. International Communication A/S does not refund any money for lessons that have not been conducted.
Instructors
At the start of a service, an instructor is assigned for the entire course. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the instructor may be replaced. The customer will not be entitled to cancel the purchase as a result of such changes.
Materials
There are no refunds for pre-paid training materials received by the customer.
Transfer of Courses
Courses may be transferred to other students or other languages, if necessary. There will be an additional charge of DKK 500.00 excluding VAT in case materials need to be purchased.
Course Conclusion
At the end of the course, IC issues an official course certificate, which includes the instructor's assessment of the customer. This assessment is based on the internationally recognised CEFR scale.
Confidentiality
Instructors and translators from International Communication A/S are under an obligation to maintain confidentiality with regards to everything they may learn when performing their duties, unless such information must be brought to the attention of a third party due to the nature of the situation. This obligation to maintain confidentiality also applies after the course has been completed.
Use of Third-Party Trademarks and Logos
Any third-party company names, logos, or trademarks displayed on this website are the property of their respective owners. They are used solely for the purpose of identifying organisations with whom International Communication A/S has or has had a business relationship. Such display does not imply endorsement of our services by those organisations, nor does it imply any current affiliation, partnership, or sponsorship unless explicitly stated. We make no claim of ownership over any third-party intellectual property displayed on this site. If you are a rights holder and have concerns regarding the display of your trademark, please contact us directly.

Terms of Payment
Fees must be paid prior to course start unless otherwise agreed. All prices are ex VAT. However, please note that courses for private persons are exempt from VAT.
Right of Cancellation
The customer has the right to cancel their purchase within a period of 14 days from the date of purchase. This only applies to consumers and does not apply to companies. To exercise the right of cancellation, the customer must inform IC in an email to info@intcom.dk or to the associated consultant and receive a written confirmation in response. If the service has already been put into use, the right of cancellation lapses.
Pricing
IC's services are charged at the prices specified in the written information sent to the customer. The prices are exclusive of VAT for companies. IC reserves the right to change prices without prior notice, however, such changes will not affect the offers already sent.
Online Participation
The customer is personally responsible for being able to fulfil the technical requirements necessary to participate virtually. Any costs incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Force Majeure
International Communication A/S (IC) shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These circumstances include, but are not limited to:
- Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, or severe weather conditions
- Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies
- War, civil unrest, terrorism, or threats of terrorism
- Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
- Labor disputes, strikes, or industrial actions
- Widespread power outages or telecommunications failures
- Cyber attacks or significant IT system failures
In the event of a Force Majeure:
- IC will promptly notify affected customers of the situation and its expected impact on courses.
- Where possible, IC will:
- Convert in-person courses to online formats
- Reschedule affected lessons without additional charges
- Extend course completion deadlines accordingly
- If course delivery becomes impossible for an extended period:
- IC reserves the right to cancel affected courses
- Customers will receive credit for unused lessons
- Alternative arrangements will be proposed where feasible
- The validity period of unused lessons will be automatically extended by the duration of the Force Majeure event.
- If a Force Majeure event continues for more than 90 consecutive days, either party may terminate the agreement with written notice, and IC will provide a pro-rata refund for unused lessons.
- IC will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of the Force Majeure event and resume normal service as soon as possible.
